Test Day

Since we want to create the best possible conditions for you and your driving skills, we divide Mantorp Park Test Day into four driving groups. The driving sessions are 15 minutes long, and groups rotate throughout the day.

Group A:This group is intended for teams that intend to test the car before the season, upcoming competitions, or after making technical changes.

Group B:This group is intended for drivers who want to train for the season, upcoming competitions, and develop their driving skills.

Group C:This group is for drivers who drive modified cars.

Group D:This group is for open cars, legens, and radicals.

Mantorp Park staff have the authority to move drivers between groups if it is considered a safety risk.
Please note that the number of driving groups may vary between driving sessions, depending on the number of participating drivers.

Requirements for drivers and personal equipment:

• Driver's license or approved FIA license, SBF Racing or SBF Formula
• Approved SBF license or one-time license purchased in advance or signed on site
• Clothing and equipment according to the respective competition class

Technical regulations for competition vehicles:

• Approved vehicle logbook
• The cars must comply with and be approved in accordance with the technical regulations for the respective competition class for which the vehicle registration document has been issued.
• Drifting cars are not permitted.

Randomtechnical inspections may be carried out in the racing depot. Mantorp Park reserves the right to remove cars that do not meet the requirements for track driving.

Requirements for drivers and personal equipment:

• Driver's license or approved SBF license
• Approved SBF license or one-time license purchased in advance or signed on site
• Helmet
• Full-coverage clothing made of flame-resistant material (avoid nylon and fleece, for example)
• Good shoes and gloves

Technical regulations for modified cars:

• • Functioning seat belt
  • No loose objects in the car
  • Battery attachment
  • Hoses in good condition and no leaks
  • Brake lights
  • Brakes in good condition (fresh brake pads, brake discs, and brake fluid)
  • Tires in good condition.
  • Cabs must have their roofs up
  • 1 muffler per exhaust system
  • Drifting cars are not permitted.

Randomtechnical inspections may be carried out in the racing depot. Mantorp Park reserves the right to remove cars that do not meet the requirements for track driving.

Carpooling

Passengers are permitted if the personal equipment requirements are met. To ride as a passenger, you must be at least 16 years old (14 years old if the passenger has a valid SBF license), purchase a passenger ticket, and attend a driver meeting.

Requirements for personal equipment

• Approved SBF license or one-time license purchased in advance or on site. Alternatively, approved FIA license or SBF Racin.
• Helmet (racing or motorcycle helmet)
• Full-coverage clothing made of flame-resistant material (avoid nylon and fleece, for example)
• Good shoes and gloves

During Mantorp Park Test Day, qualified and experienced personnel work at Mantorp Park and keep an eye on what is happening out on the track. The entire track is monitored by a camera system that is manned throughout the day. We currently have 16 cameras. Of course, rescue personnel are also on site, all to ensure that you as a participant feel safe and well cared for at Mantorp Park.

Mantorp Park Test Day is not a competition and no timing is carried out. Show consideration for each other and drive sensibly. Remember to drive carefully on the way to and from the track.
